I came of age as a Stage Door kid. Lining up post-show for the likes of tap-dancing beltress Sutton Foster, literally any cast of Spring Awakening, and my favorite Elphaba Eden Espinosa (fight me!). I never imagined myself on the receiving end of that adoration, but my play The Bottoming Process has somehow tricked people into thinking I am cool enough to stan. The fan art, handcrafted gifts, and messages (handwritten! and DM’d!) gifted to me have been so touching and really fucking cool. Shoutout to all the fan fans!
Home-Cooked Meals
After months of post-show late-night Del Taco dinners, during the run of The Bottoming Process, we are officially closed; and I am back to having time to cook and eat dinner during the normal hours of any time before midnight. Currently working my 🐱 out is this Creamy Coconut Rice with Spiced Chickpeas recipe from Make It Dairy Free.
